The title of this art pieces called “It’s happened in November” by Kani Alavi, this art pieces is painted in 1990, and located at the East Side Gallery, Berlin. Kani Alavi was born 1955 in Lahidshan, Iran. He is a German-Iranian artist. In 1980 he moved to Berlin, and in 1990 he is one of the artists who painted parts of the Berlin Wall as the East Side Gallery.

From the art pieces we can saw that there are a lot of human faces with all different expression and emotion on it, and there are two wall that look like is already fracture sit beside all the human faces, with the bluish ocean background.

This art pieces is viewing a cooler feeling as it using a cool color tone, blue. The different tone of blue makes the whole drawing show a cooler and mystery feel, and the artist also use a little bit of beige and yellow color to enhance his drawing. By the way, the art pieces show a rhythm on the fracture of the wall and the way and also the way of  Kani Alavi paint the ocean. We can also appoint that all of the human faces either as one point or separate point.

I like this art piece is because it really make a strong visual impact to me. In my opinion, blue is a calm and cozy color, but in this art pieces it bring a feel of strange. The background of this art pieces is all about the fallen of the Berlin Wall while the Cold Wall happened. I think that the exist of this art pieces is there, is to remind the people not to forget the history and also the pain and price that the old generation paid for the peace.

It might be a successful art pieces as long as it record the history and bring an positive effect on reminding people not to forget the past.
